Our History
We opened in November of 2007, and placed nannies in our first week. We currently serve families in the Mobile and Baldwin Counties. We provide nannies for several local churches as well. We have nannies who provide love to all children. We have several who specialize in special needs children, multiples and large families.
Our Nannies
Our nannies are professional experience nannies who love children. They undergo a private investigator background check. They are drug screened for prescription and street drugs. The nannies have authenticated references and are CPR and First aid educated.
How our Service Works
Our nannies are trained with the process of doing everything the same as if the parents would do them. This helps keep consistency of childcare. Our nanny agreements give the parents a chance to give detail instructions on how to handle numerous aspects of their children's care. Affordable Nannies believes in open communication between the parents and the nannies. Our nanny agreement helps keep everyone on the same page.
How do I get started?
Call our office at (251)634-0131 to tell us about your needs. You will then fill out a family application. Once this is processed you will arrange a time to interview nannies. We schedule the interview around your schedule and even do after hour interviews to accommodate your work schedule. The interviews take place at our office. We are there in the interview to assist you when asking the nannies questions. We help you through this process. We understand it may be awkward for parents because they have never interviewed a nanny before. We are here to help you along.
How long does it take to find a nanny?
This process can move pretty quickly. Be sure to allow time for all paper work to be done. We suggest you schedule in time for you to work side by side with your nanny to get to know her better.
